The Hunger Heroes annual school challenge campaign runs from September 2021 through May 2022. Your school can make a difference! Many people think collecting cans of food or volunteering are the most impactful ways to make a difference, and while these efforts are appreciated, in these trying times our digital fundraising activities yield the best results.
These fundraising initiatives are extremely helpful because as the demand for food increases, we leverage our ability to purchase healthy food items from our network of distributors at significant discounts over retail. To put it simply, dollars go much further.
By partnering with Gleaners Community Food Bank, your students are learning how they can help alleviate hunger in their community.
Every $1 donated will provide 3 meals for our neighbors in need.
The high school (based on student population) that brings in the most pounds of food and dollars thru the 2021-2022 school year could win $5,000 thanks to the Rick Young Insurance Mountain of Food Drive!
