Be Part of Schaeffler’s Virtual Food Drive to Help Gleaners Community Food Bank Feed Southeastern Michigan’s Neighbors in Need!
Giving back to our communities has always been part of Schaeffler’s DNA – throughout the world and, of course, right here in Troy. Schaeffler employees are unfailingly generous with their time and resources when it comes to helping those in need, and we are confident that this year will be no exception.
2020 has been an exceptional year, to say the least, and the pandemic’s impact on our communities and the economy means that many of our neighbors could go hungry this holiday season – but not if you can help! To that end, Schaeffler’s Troy facility is partnering with Gleaners Community Food Bank for a virtual food drive.
As many of you know through your past generosity, Gleaners has been serving Southeastern Michigan’s neediest since 1977. Each year, this dedicated non-profit food bank distributes more than 45 million pounds of food to neighbors in need! And every one of your dollars donated to Gleaners provides three meals, while 92 cents of every donated dollar goes to food and food programs.
So, during this season of giving, please join us in giving generously to Gleaners. And help make 2020 a truly exceptional year for our neediest neighbors – for all the right reasons.
