When school meal programs end, kids still need healthy breakfasts to fuel play and help them grow strong.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that Children’s Hospital of Michigan is once again partnering with Gleaners to host the 2026 Children’s Hospital Cereal Drive Competition. Over the last 16 years, together, we’ve raised more than 14.8 million servings of cereal.
This year’s Annual Cereal Drive will kick off May 29 and runs through June 5.
Milk is one of the most popular items at Gleaners’ distributions. In fiscal year 2025 alone, Gleaners distributed more than 844,000 gallons of milk across Southeast Michigan. Thanks to our partnership with the United Dairy Industry of Michigan (UDIM), we’re able to keep this nutritious staple on the menu for families.
