The winter season has always been a difficult time for children and families facing food insecurity. The holiday season is usually when most focus on giving, but once giving has been provided for it, donations dry up in February. So “when it really matters,” AlixGives to ensure that giving continues.
Imagine the heartache of parents who skip meals so their children can eat, or the anxiety of a child who goes to bed hungry. In alignment with the firm’s social responsibility plan towards SDG #2 – Zero Hunger, AlixPartners local market and BPN are pleased to partner with the Gleaners Community Food Bank, one of our core charities, to host a virtual food drive during the period of February 10, 2025, through March 7, 2025.
As with our 2023 drive, it will be a friendly in-office competition between floors to collect donations of $5,000 to help feed hungry families in our community. For those that do not frequent the office, you can still participate in this effort. Your contribution can make a world of difference, turning despair into hope. Let’s come together and show that we care, not just during the holidays, but all year round.
