Harvest Hunger Hoot began as a collaborative Michigan Folk Musicians Benefit Concert Fundraiser and Food Drive for Gleaners Community Food Bank. Artist volunteers included: Annie and Rod Capps, Wanda Degen, Alan Finkbeiner, Jan Krist, Matt and Kim Watroba, Gary Weisenburg, William Wyatt, and Neil Woodward, Michigan’s Troubadour. Proceeds from the concert brought in over $4,000 in individual donations.
We fellow artists believe access to decent food and water is a human right. Our American celebration of Thanksgiving is a call for all of us to share the bounty of a successful harvest!
