In Livingston County 10% of the population is facing food insecurity. Food insecurity means facing a struggle to provide an adequate supply of food for yourself or your family. This could be your neighbor or a person next to you in class. Many times, you have no idea. With Thanksgiving coming up, we want everyone to be able to enjoy a meal with their family and be relieved of this stress. Brighton High School has the opportunity to make an impact on our community through the Gleaners. By donating one dollar, you can provide three meals for someone in need. The food drive will begin on October 30th and run until November 21st. To show your support, donations will be given to your first hour teacher or sent to the link provided.
