The General Dynamics Land Systems Prototype Shop and UAW Local 412 – Unit 27 have a long and proud 14 year history of giving to others around this time of year.
We are once again partnering with Gleaners to hold a fundraiser that will directly benefit the Vietnam Veterans Chapter 154. The Vet’s Food Pantry has been an extremely valuable resource for ALL veterans who find themselves in need. A veteran should never have to decide between a medicine refill and a food purchase. This year has been an exceptional year for the panty and they have been helping more than ever!
Veterans who use the Food Pantry can seek help four times in a calendar year, or eight times total. The Pantry is there to provide a hand up, not a hand out. Each veteran, spouse or widow will leave with enough food to get them through several weeks.

100% of our donations will be applied directly to Chapter 154’s account with Gleaners. This account allows the Pantry to purchase food from them at a fraction of the cost you would find in the stores. Additionally, our fund drive total will be DOUBLED on December 14 from our matching sponsor Kroger. The matched dollars will help Gleaners continue their great work in our community.
