My parents Harvey and Harriet, donated to every worthy cause, even in their 90s with increasing care issues of their own. I decided that I would use my love of making art to raise money for a very special cause and donate the money in their name, so they could retire from donating.
We chose the wonderful Gleaners Community Food Bank. I created the ornaments in nature themes of flowers and butterflies. Each ornament is individually painted on paper, adhered to wood or metal, and varnished with a UV protective glaze. On the back, each one is hand signed and includes a large H. The H stands for Harvey and Harriet and for fighting Hunger. 100% of proceeds from each ornament sold will go directly to Gleaners. Thank you for caring!
