Detroit Transportation Corporation (DTC) serves as both owner and operator of The Detroit People Mover (DPM) a fully automated light rail system that operates along an elevated single-track loop in Detroit’s central business district. The system provides connections between the courts and administrative offices of several levels of government, sport arenas, exhibition centers, major hotels, commercial, banking and retail districts. In addition to managing the DPM, DTC is also responsible for overseeing the Detroit Transit Police.
Our goal is to bring our team together to collaborate towards a common objective and continue to provide important services to our community. We are proud to once again partner with Gleaners Community Food Bank this year to help provide meals for families faced with hunger and food insecurity.
During Gleaners’ matching gift days (November 12 through November 19), monetary donations will be matched dollar per dollar. Every dollar will provide six meals.
