We invite you to participate in our very first virtual food/fund drive. The funds raised will benefit Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. Gleaners provides food to more than 660 partner soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and other agencies across the region. In their 2021 fiscal year, Gleaners distributed a record-breaking 71.4 million pounds of food to children, families, seniors and veterans in need!
SafeSend will match dollar for dollar on employee contributions, up to $1,000! In addition, any money donated by SafeSend staff during this drive, from September 12-30th, will be matched by Gleaners sponsors for the “Mow Down Hunger” campaign. This campaign helps to make sure every child has enough to eat during the back to school season.
Every dollar donated provides three meals and 94 cents of every donated dollar goes to food and food programs. Together we can make a difference to ease hunger in our local communities.
